Accommodation:-
Except for Dehradun and Badrinath, all hotels at Chardham are non-star
categories. We provide the best available accommodations at the other
three Dhams.
All food served is pure vegetarian.
Hotels can be changed with similar available options, If a particular hotel
is fully booked.
Single Supplement:-
Our package includes accommodation on twin sharing basis. A charge of
Rs. 45,000/- extra will be applicable for guests who wish to stay on single
occupancy at hotels in all destinations.
Booking Confirmation:-
The booking is confirmed with a 50% deposit of the charter amount. The
full amount must be paid 15 days prior to the date of journey.
Rescheduling Policy:-
Bookings can be rescheduled to a later date subject to availability
with a 10% additional fee, if requested at least 15 days before the
journey date.
Rescheduling requests made within 15 days of the journey will be
treated as cancelled and a fresh booking will be done subject to
availability.
Passenger Policy:-
Children aged 2 years and above will be considered as full passengers.
Infants below 2 years of age (max. 12 kg weight) are accommodated
free of charge.
For verification of age of the child, ID proof/ Birth certificate is
mandatory.
The weight of the infant will be reduced from the total permissible
weight of the helicopter.
Weight Limitations:-
All flights are subject to the total weight and balance of the helicopter.
Guests have to MANDATORILY submit their correct weights at the time of
booking.
If any change in weight found at the time of their travel from the submitted
weights, which would exceed our aircraft’s weight carrying capacity, guest(s)
would be Deboarded & cancelled for the Heli-tour without any refund.
If a passenger's weight exceeds the prescribed limit, extra charges will apply,
subject to approval from our technical team.
Guests weighing more than 75 kg will be charged an overweight fee of Rs. 2000
per kg for the total weight above 75 kg, ensuring the helicopter's total carrying
capacity of 450 kg is not exceeded.
Luggage Allowance:-
Only 5 kg of luggage per passenger is allowed in helicopter. It is not permitted to
carry suitcases or big travel bags, therefore duffle bags will be provided by our
team to each passenger on the day of arrival.
Passengers will carry only the bags provided by Pilgrimage Aviation. Excess luggage
would not be allowed in the helicopter.
Flight Arrangement:-
Helicopters have limited weight carrying capacity. To ensure safe flying in the hills,
Pilgrimage Aviation reserves the right to shuffle passengers between different
helicopters. Therefore, passengers travelling together might not be flying in the
same helicopter.
Passengers must maintain the same arrangement throughout the trip for safety
reasons.
There might be difference in flying timings between the helicopters due to
Operational or Technical Reasons.
From Guptkashi/Sitapur to Kedarnath Ji, passengers will be divided into different
helicopters based on weight and balance requirements.
Itinerary Changes:-
Pilgrimage Aviation reserves the right to alter the itinerary or Flight timings a day
prior due to weather/operational reasons.
Additional Expenses:-
Any additional expenses, apart from the meals included in the itinerary, will be borne
by the passengers. The company will not be responsible for any changes in
restaurants or hotels made by the customer.
Expenses made towards any new inclusion in the itinerary (in the form of newly
added sightseeing destination, etc.) not mentioned previously in the original
itinerary list will be chargeable on actual basis.
All kinds of expenses that arise because of a natural calamity in the form of weather,
government restrictions, strikes, agitations, political disturbances of other nature,
etc. These expenses will be borne by the passengers.
Any additional night due to bad weather, technical reasons etc. other than the
package inclusions (5 nights) will be paid by the passengers
Passenger Conduct:-
Pilgrimage Aviation reserves the right to deny boarding to passengers who are
unruly, abusive, intoxicated, ill, mentally unfit, or otherwise deemed unsafe to fly.
No refund will be issued to such passengers.
Tax Changes:-
Any changes in applicable taxes, government levies, royalties, or BKTC charges will
result in an adjustment of the tax amount, which will be charged accordingly.
GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS
Temples in Do Dham are located in high-altitude areas. Passengers
are advised to carry woolen clothes, raincoats G regular medical kit
with them.
Kedarnath Ji G Badrinath Ji are located above 10500 ft. Therefore, it
is advisable for passengers to carry disposable Oxygen Bottles with
them in case of any breathlessness issues.
This is a fixed departure tour and all departure timings of each
destination are fixed. Therefore, passengers must ensure they report
as per the mentioned scheduled ETD on each day of the tour.
It is mandatory to attend the tour briefing conducted by our staff in
the evening on the day of Arrival where actuals weights of the
passengers will be taken and duffle bags will be provided.
Passengers are advised to carry comfortable clothing for this tour such
as Kurtas tracksuits. Avoid slippers/Floaters and carry a pair of
sneakers with you.
Phones are allowed within the premises of the Temples but
photography is strictly prohibited inside the temples.
All the passengers travelling by helicopter are permitted to do VIP
darshans from inside the temple. Sometimes the administration/
government imposes restrictions on darshans from inside the temple
(Garbha Griha) due to heavy rush at dhams. In such cases, darshans
are done from outside only.
Carrying a proper Photo ID card is mandatory for all Indian travellers.
Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar Card, Driving License, and Voter ID.
Foreign nationals must present a passport.
Passengers are advised to book evening late Flights/Trains while
returning from Dehradun as there might be delay while returning back
from Badrinath due to weather/operational reasons.
We recommend keeping at least one additional day in hand at Dehradun
when planning your trip.
Bad Weather Conditions: In case the journey is not finished within the
stipulated time & passengers are not able to visit one or more Dhams due
to bad weather conditions/technical reasons then the company will try to
complete it the next day. However, even if that is not possible then the
liability of the company will be limited to refund of unutilized sectors.
